Praise dance, bellydance or just for fun, the fan veil is a gorgeous prop that many dancers incorporate into their routines. They bring a floaty, fluid and exciting element to the dance and are so much fun to work with.
Adding a lightweight, unobtrusive and easily removable rope to this beautiful playsilk upgrades these fan veils to "fan pois"! With their bamboo frame, they spread out completely and easily cut through the air. You can seamlessly switch between a fan veil and a poi in your dance. You can also remove the poi rope at any time and use it as a regular fan veil.
The wide, thick and curved bamboo handles provide a comfortable grip. The screw rivets allow you to adjust the tightness and even change the fan opening direction by hand without tools, but you will need to tighten the screw head every occasionally to keep it from falling off. Be sure to keep the spare rivets.
Hand-painted bright colors with soft gradations. Necessary edges are hemmed to prevent fraying. The circular edge on the smaller side of the fan is not hemmed, which does not affect the use of the fan. If you wish, you can trim this edge once in a while.
Be sure to remove the wrinkles on the silk with a steam iron when you receive the fan veil, otherwise the silk will not flow well. Keep the fan dry and clean. Never wash the fans.
