È un Adafruit Feather 32u4 con un modulo radio 868/915 MHz, ideale per realizzare reti wireless che possono andare più di 2,4 GHz 802.15.4 e similari, sono più flessibili rispetto alle tecnologie Bluetooth LE e senza le esigenze di alta potenza del WiFi.
Questa è la versione radio da 900 MHz, che può essere utilizzata per trasmissione/ricezione da 868 MHz o 915 MHz. La frequenza radio esatta è determinata quando si carica il software since può essere sintonizzato in modo dinamico.

All'interno dell'RP2040 c'è un bootloader USB UF2 "ROM permanente". Ciò significa che quando si desidera programmare un nuovo firmware, è possibile tenere premuto il pulsante BOOTSEL mentre lo si collega all'USB e apparirà come un'unità disco USB su cui è possibile trascinare il firmware.
Per le periferiche, ci sono due controller I2C, due controller SPI e due UART che sono multiplexati attraverso il GPIO: controlla il pinout per quali pin possono essere impostati su quali. Ci sono 16 canali PWM, ogni pin ha un canale su cui può essere impostato
Poiché si tratta di un chip M0, non ha un'unità in virgola mobile o supporto hardware DSP, quindi se stai facendo qualcosa con una matematica pesante in virgola mobile, sarà fatto nel software e quindi non veloce come un M4. Per molte altre attività computazionali, otterrai velocità vicine a M4!
C'è un ottimo supporto C/C++, una porta MicroPython ufficiale e una porta CircuitPython!
